Ravago Americas is Hiring a Training Specialist Near Orlando, FL

Purpose The purposes of this role is to collaborate with various Subject Matter Experts (SME) within all areas of Ravago Manufacturing Operations and other areas as assigned to identify, prioritize, develop and facilitate training course content as it relates to RMA’s General Policy, Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and initiatives. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below. 1. Development & Delivery of Technical Training a) Partners with SME’s and assists in defining course objectives, scope and sequence of required and recommended trainingb) Recommends instructional strategies, delivery media and assessment methodsc) Identify, Source and or Create and configure content which will include videos and the editing of videos in required softwared) Partner with outside vendors for any contracted services related to content creation or editinge) Work multiple assigned projects in differing departments, locations and subjects simultaneouslyf) Apply the RMA 7S for Success standards to the work area and all tasks 2. Learning Management System Administrationa) Load and test learning content and partner with software provider and IT to resolve issues users encounter with the coursesb) Maintain LMS courses based on any changes in policy or processc) Work with Quality department to ensure all training records are maintained and that LMS is up to dated) Assign LMS courses based on training strategies and on-boarding practicese) Provide reporting of LMS utilizationf) Work with plant departments to maintain applicable training records both within and external to the LMSg) Provide regular LMS updates to RMA LMS Leader and Site Leader / Plant Manager 3. All other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities 1. Not Applicable Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility. The requirements listed below are representative of observable behaviors and essential knowledge, skill, and abilities required of a successful incumbent within our culture. a) Strong technical aptitude and the ability to create process flows.b) Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Suite.c) Highly organized and able to create clear, logical systems, and support your work and that of the organization.d) Familiarity with the basics of content development through related work experience of creating or leading training and performing needs analysis.e) Strong relationship building, collaborating and change management skills.f) Strong communication skills with the ability to document technical information with SME’s with high attention to detail.g) Positive, pro-active and passionate about supporting employee development and learningh) Ability to travel up to 50% as required. Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications 1. Education: a. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Learning & Development, Communication or related field required. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree 2. Experience:a) 2 years of sourcing, creating course content and facilitation preferredb) 2 years’ experience with LMS systems or similar experience preferredc) Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferredd) 2 years’ experience analyzing and creating process maps/flows. 3. Licenses / Certifications: a. Valid driver’s license – required 4. Language: a. Proficiency in English requiredb. Bi-Lingual – Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
